Theater in CHICAGO!

Chicago is known for its theater and for creating highly creative plays.
In this city there are many plays as the famous Broadway and regional plays.
Brightly lit marquees along Dearborn and Randolph Streets mark an area in the Loop famously known as the Theater District.

Theatergoers have a wealth of large-scale musical productions to choose from, including Broadway In Chicago’s West Side Story, the Tony Award-winning classic playing at the Cadillac Palace this summer. Plus, Carrie Fisher is in town this October for her autobiographical hit show Wishful Drinking.  This summer, the Oriental Theatre will be home to the beloved Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast.

Chicago offers a host of theatergoing resources to help theater lovers find affordable tickets easily.

A money-saver for theater patrons, Hot Tix offers half-price theater tickets online, as well as at two convenient downtown ticket booth locations: 72 E. Randolph St. (across from the Chicago Cultural Center) and 163 E. Pearson St. at Michigan Ave. in the Water Works Visitor Center.  Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm or Sunday 11 am – 4 pm. Closed Monday.

It's a place you can't to lose it !
